Hyperlocal.co.uk is the umbrella name which encompasses the local news and information output from Uretopia Limited. Under that umbrella, Uretopia creates a range of sites which help to connect communities and provide information about local news, issues and events as well as homes and properties, jobs and more.

The point of the Hyperlocal.co.uk is to create a space to announce developments within our portfolio of sites and also to create a dialogue with other parties interested in community level publishing.

Despite the somewhat authoritative sounding domain name, we’re relative newbies in the realms of hyperlocal publishing. We’re still learning what works best across our sites before then trying to apply it across other domains we own.  Hopefully we can share items of knowledge picked up along the way and learn from others too.
